Guest Blog

Per a suggestion by Grasshopper, I am including this space for guests to post information about fishing experiences pertinent to this site. These posts will be moderated, and edited if needed, per admin. (I am picky about how it looks, syntax, spelling, and to some degree the content). I feel this enhancement will provide valuable information to guests about waters I have no access to, and even a different report for waters I have researched. Please post away!

    The Larry Report!
Topwater is slowing down but that means other baits will start to be more effective.
Crankbaits and Jerkbaits- they seems to be the go to baits right now, shad and crawdad colors.
Jigs- Brown, Orange brown, and olive colors. 1/4oz to 3/4oz.
Worms- 4″ to 6″ on a drop shot or Dart heads 1/8oz to 1/4oz shad or crawdad colors.
    Senkos- 176, 221, 241,297,301,305, 306, 330, 926 and 973.
Spoons- one of the most productive baits at the moment! 1/2oz to 7/8oz silver or silver blue.
    Spinnerbaits- 1/2oz to 3/4oz white/white and white/chart.
Trout- from the surface down to 100ft. Speedy shiners, cripplures, Atomic, Rapalas and Wiggle hoochies.
