State of the Spotted Bass Report Lake Shasta

Phil’s Storefront

My fishing partner Andrew keeps track of the state of the fish while working for Phil’s Propeller and Tackle as a store manager. Phil’s is located just off of I-5 north of Redding, CA  about 6 miles, in the City of Shasta Lake. This store has been likened to a ‘Big Boys’ candy store, because of all the goodies that are pretty much anything fishing folk may need for the local lakes and rivers, and Andrew is somewhat of a master of the inventory.

This catch made Andrew smile

Andrew also writes a weekly fishing report called the Larry Report about information he has picked up from all the folks coming through the store, other guys working at Phil’s, and other sources. We are going to post these in the guest blog button above.

As many of my posts are from someplace other than current, Andrew’s posts will be completely up to date. Probably so fresh you can imagine the information wiggling right off the screen!

Here is the first Larry Report
